We, the undersigned, ask you to shutter immediately the approximately 550 Burger King outlets currently operating in Russia. This is in response to the unprovoked invasion of the sovereign country Ukraine which has resulted in mass civilian casualties, destruction of homes hospitals and schools, the greatest refugee movement and suffering since WWII, the creation of aftershocks of terror around the world.

It is appalling that you have not already shut operations and that the people of the world have to resort to petition and boycott to force you. Your continued business activity legitimises Putin's actions and provides revenue to the Russian war machine. The invasion is an attack on humanity and international law. We support all those in Russia, Ukraine and around the world who oppose Putin's brutal aggression.
