Bungie recently stated that it wants Destiny 2 to only be played on Windows. 

Though the Linux gaming community is still small, with Steam bringing Proton and the recent anti-cheat support, it's only going to grow. 

Mac gaming is also probably going to go up soon since Apple Silicon shows great promise is graphics. 

I personally think it's a lost opportunity to bring this great game to Linux and it's one of the bigger reasons I can't switch my main PC operating system and need to keep a Windows machine on hand. I'm sure there are many others who want to see this come to other OSs too.
