Buncombe County Schools recently began enforcing a rule that prevents nonacademic clubs from advertising. The policy they have cited as their reasoning doesn't say anything about this. It also targets the LGBTQ+ community (GSA), racial minorities (racial/cultural clubs), women (Girl Up and similar clubs), and religious groups (YCI Club and similar clubs). This policy is entirely inappropriate and illegal. We want change.
