Mr. Daniel Singleton is being charged with a misdemeanor for Larceny after taking charge of a situation to get care for a cat that was otherwise being neglected proper and necessary health care.

Although he wasn’t originally aware of the length of time the cat was in need, he was aware of neglect after finding out the cat had a thorn just above its eye (vet said “eye area”).

The owner of the cat had been warned about the damage being caused by the feline trying to remove the thorn itself. Those attempts ended up creating a large indent causing the thorn to be burrowed deeper inside the cat’s face. 

Mr. Singleton found out from his niece who was living in the cat owner’s residence at the time and decided to help out with concern for the animal. He took the cat to the vet, paid the bill and has returned the animal.
