The parking solution currently in use at the Yorkshire Residential Buildings in Collingwood are managed by Klaus Multiparking.

The residents and owners of Yorkshire would like to raise the following concerns in relation to this facility:

1) Some residents are forgetting to tap off as they drive out or finish parking their car.  The system relies on remembering to do this and there are several incidents per week that seriously inconvenience residents who may need to take their car out or park whilst this has happened.  There should be smarter options explored such as mobile apps or override codes to reduce the inconvenience and cost to residents.

2) Klaus have charged residents for "User Error" issues without having evidence that this was the case.  At times residents have been charged for costs relating to jammed car parking mechanism which they claim was not their fault however there is seemingly no process to dispute or challenge these costs.

3) Klaus have charged residents for a new induction simply when they have swapped out their car parking spot from one spot to another.  This is unnecessarily as residents who have already been inducted already know how to use the system.

We ask the Body Corporate and Strata to review the existing service agreement with Klaus and offer alternative solutions that may reduce the impact on residents.  This petition has been signed by residents and owners of Yorkshire Brewery.
