Too many residents of South Brunswick are dying crossing route 1.  There is no safe way to cross route 1 in our township, and it is time that we changed that.  The leadership of South Brunswick repeatedly chooses to spend taxpayer funding on useless projects such as the digital billboard by Promenade Blvd.  When instead, they could have put that money towards projects such as a pedestrian overpass in the same place.  Children in South Brunswick are missing out on many experiences as they cannot travel throughout the township safely by walking or biking.  Not everyone has a car, and it is completely unfair to make people risk their lives just to get essentials, such as groceries.  South Brunswick is already a car dependent hell, but you can help keep bikers/walkers safe by signing this petition.
