Centerville City, Utah recently purchased property adjoined to Smith Park (by the city office buildings). Discussions on how to use this land are currently ongoing. It has been proposed that 8 to 10 pickleball courts be constructed there. However, there has been some pushback from council members. This location is not directly adjacent to any private homes.  More importantly, it is adjacent to public restrooms, two public parking lots, and electricity that could be used for lighting. For these reasons it is a prime location for additional pickleball courts in Centerville.
