The Fraser Coast Council spends thousands upon thousands of dollars on new play equipment for children's parks all the time in areas all around the Fraser coast, mainly in Hervey bay and Maryborough.

I don't understand how they can not build fences around these places, more then half of the children's parks are very close to a road with very busy traffic. Mainly around the Hervey bay Esplanade.

I understand most parents can "manage" to keep their kids from running onto the road, but they shouldn't have to worry about something as trivial as that. But if the council can constantly upgrade everything around the Parks and afford to build themselves a Brand new 93 Million Dollar Council Headquarters then i don't see the problem with spending a little bit of money towards the health and safety of the children and family's that live in the Fraser Coast.

I myself am a Father to 2 children aged 4 and 5 and they both have mental disabilities as well as genetic disorders, with these conditions they can not understand the dangers of the world and have a lot of problems with being able to follow instructions.

Please help me with this petition to get the Fraser Coast council to understand we need to protect our Children.
