Swimmers in Burleson ISD are constantly having to miss practice and the opportunities to become better because we do not have a proper pool to swim in. There have been numerous amounts of times where we have had to cancel practice because the BRiCk was not in shape for us to swim in. With a proper, functioning natatorium, this would not happen and we would be able to flourish with success and not miss any pool time. This issue has been occurring for multiple years and does not seem to resolve. The BRiCk is not a competition pool for us to swim in. It is cramped, low-functioning, and overall meant for the public rather than competitive swimmers.
