Thousands of valley residents have been commuting between Anchorage and the Valley for decades. They tear up the roads, use our public facilities and services, and do not contribute enough toward maintaining them. A toll between these two zones would be used to offset costs and ensure that the Anchorage community isn't over burdened. Additionally, a wall will help prevent bypassing the toll and help to curb the movement of Valley methamphetamines that are flooding into Anchorage.
