Skateboarding and scootering is one of the most popular sports for young athletes.

Skateparks are one of the only places that scooter riders and skaters can go to safely  practice their sport, meet up with each other and have a lot of fun.

But there are no skateparks in Moorabbin!

We are asking the Kingston Council to look into building a skate/scooter park in Moorabbin.

It doesn’t have to be a huge facility but just somewhere for skaters and scooter riders to meet up and enjoy their sport.

There are two large reserves in the area with space to spare - Moorabbin Reserve (next to RSEA Park on Linton Street) and Bricker Reserve (on Rowans Road) are just two examples - and we ask the council to please consider using some of this unused space to provide what would be a much-loved and well-used facility!
