Buffalo City Municipality is charging Macleantown area for services that are not being delivered.  We as a community and Macleantown Rate Payers Association would like BCM to act speedily and remove these charges from our accounts and rectify their inaccurate billing.  Macleantown is a rural village and BCM does not provide the Rate Payers with any services. 

We have also asked BCM to look into illegal invasions in our area but to date have not had any response.  Many households have not opened accounts with BCM and are not being charged any rates. 

BCM should firstly update their accounting records and then check what services they are able to offer before loading these services onto our accounts.

We would also like BCM to provide a representative at the Town Hall once a month to handle queries and grieviences as it is too far for most of the locals to get to the East London and Mdantsane offices.
