Oversized vehicles are causing excessive delays and are not safe to travel through tiny village road, especially during school travel times. Would welcome with restrictions to ease the issue.

The little village roads which are in a bad state anyway, are completely unsuitable for this kind of large giant haulage traffic. It’s incredibly dangerous also for families who live on these roads walking or cycling to school. It’s now impossible to ride a horse in these roads.

Our roads cannot cope with these huge lorries who constantly thunder through our hamlet ignoring the speed limit, tooting at all hours and using abusive language when they have problems negotiating the width restriction. Most importantly I’m fed up with my house shaking .

I don’t think that more lorries coming through our villages is good for the residents or the environment

The roads are not suitable for an increase in HGV traffic.

I have watched large lorries including skip and coaches navigating around Long Marston during the day but in the morning and at school leaving time with the added children around it is an accident waiting to happen and can be stopped if sensible decision making rules over money. As if thats going to happen... so under whos watch will there be blood.

I live in Cheddington. The roads in this village, and surrounding villages cannot accommodate any more HGV traffic movement! A waste recycling facility of this scale needs to be sited in a location with an infrastructure designed to take the quantity, and weight of the vehicles supplying it.

I live around this area, I myself have experienced how particularly worrying it can be driving through these lanes with the excess hgv vehicles the lanes are not wide enough for both hgv and normal motorist it will not be long till there is a serious accident up these roads :(

I visit the area frequently. The road leading up to the junction at the Queen’s Head pub in Long Marston is entirely unsuitable for this kind of traffic with housing very close to the narrow road and a primary school nearby.
