Simple. Kim Namjoon is the world's best leader, and he deserves a day named after him.
June rhymes with Joon, and Joon always comes first before anything else. Also April 1st is a day about fooling people and being dishonest. Therefore, it's only fitting for June the 1st to be a day for Joon. Joonest Day.
