1.) The Reliability of the SBCS e-learning platform (Moodle) - While it has been a reoccurring problem in the past with respect to problems such as submission problems and access to courses, it was never as prevalent as it is right now. We are currently entering the fifth consecutive day of not being able to access our lecture notes or additional resources which are provided on the e-learning platform, given that we are a mere four days away from our first submission date of the semester, this has proven to be to the detriment of the class as a collective entity due to the fact that crucial aspects of the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Assignment #1 hinge on the resources provided on Moodle. Aside from not being able to access the website, in the event that we succeed in accessing the website, we are presented with illegible information (see attached picture). The first request of this petition is to achieve a higher level of operational reliability with regards to Moodle.

2.) Results - The untimely delivery of results can prove to be problematic as-well from time to time, for example; we received the corrections for our Human Resource Management group assignment (from two semesters ago) recently, with short notice at one of the worst possible times, this is due to the fact that the re-submission date for this assignment coincides with the due date of our first assignment for the operations and project management class and was given to us 7 days prior where many students are still finishing and polishing other assignments, which proves to be a debilitating inconvenience for several students within the class. Another example of the untimely delivery of results is that we are still awaiting results from multiple  courses from the last semester such as Business Systems and Management Accounting. The request of the class concerning this matter is to make the results available to students sooner to avoid unnecessary backlogs and pile-ups of corrections and re-submissions alongside satiating the desire of the students to generally review and gauge our own performance. 

 

3.) Certificates - It has been in excess of a year that we have been waiting for our certificate from the matriculation course and is therefore long over-due. Our simple collective request in this regard is the consignment of the relevant certifications earned by the students.
