Right now one of the most important tunnels in Brussels is named after the late king that oppressed Belgian Congo. We feel Leopold II doesn't deserve to be commemorated by such a large passage in our capital, where hundreds of people, both natives and foreigners, pass every day. (Well, except for now because the tunnel is under renovation, which would make a change of name even more fitting!) That's why we suggest renaming the tunnel to something that truly binds us, a human right that does deserve to acknowledged on a daily basis: the "Tunnel of Freedom" (in Dutch "Vrijheidstunnel", and in French "Tunnel de Liberté").
