The Railway Level-Crossing in Radhakrishna Ward, Nagshettyhalli of Bengaluru lacks proper fencing, barricades and other safety measures. Thousands of pedestrians and commuters cross the railway track on a daily basis and the chances of accidents are too high. Since the locality is a residential area, there are a lot of children playing and running around the railway crossing, which again is not a very safe place for them to be.

Also, the garbage dumped around the railway crossing is left uncleaned for several days, which in-turn is giving way to disease spreading mosquitoes and other hygiene-related issues for the residents living nearby the crossing. 

Note: After we accumulate 500 signatures on the petition, the same will be forwarded to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, B S Suresh (Local MLA) and D V Sadananda Gowda (Local MP) for procedural actions.
