Problem
There is a large population of homeless people, of these people a large amount of them have jobs, and are still homeless. Theses people are not being paid enough to pay their bills and have somewhere to live. Being homeless is often times the only problem these people can deal with on a daily basis, making their other problems take the backseat. These people need our help to deal with getting the funds to pay for somewhere to live, in order to give their attention to their other issues. Overall, this will help so many people become well rounded members of society.
Solution
Homeless people can be given reliable governments jobs in order to make the money to afford to live somewhere and afford their bills. I'm not proposing the homeless receive free money but instead they get jobs that could pay well that there is a shortage of people to fill the positions. For example, they can be street cleaners, or help with city sanitation or help with garbage disposal, or janitorial positions for government buildings.
Personal story
This petition is important to me because it seems like there is nobody standing up for these people. They don't have a voice to fight for this on their own. It is important that these people can get their dignity back and, start being treated like humans again rather than looked down upon, because of their situations. These people need our help, they need to be viewed as humans again, they need their faith in humanity restored. They need a warm place to sleep and food and water. They need all their basic needs met, and you can help that happen for them.
