Equal Funding for Schools in Chicago Land Area

The areas with the greatest number of students living in poverty have about 20% less school funding than its affluent counterparts.

This unequal funding is also related to the race of the students where the schools with the largest number of minority students receive less funding.

The over reliance on property tax leads to the worsening of the poverty of the people and the education of the students, which leads to crime.

We are trying to reach out to the governor and the Department of Education to help resolve these issues to help better the education for minority groups.
