Hoddesdon - High Street to Limes Court Passageway Closure
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
A new resident has moved in to 66 The High Street Hoddesdon (2017) and has requested that the public footpath that links Hoddesdon High Street to the Limes Court be closed.
This footway is an easy access point for the disabled and elderly to use to reach the Limes Doctor's Surgery. With this footpath being closed the only way to access the Doctors Surgery is via a hill in the Surgeries car park, which in the winter months is very slippery and dangerous to anyone that uses it.
The residents have allowed for the public footpath to be temporarily opened as a "gesture of goodwill" however chose to close the gates before Christmas due to them being "broken". The gate on the High Street has been seen being used, however the Limes Court gate remains closed.
At present there is only ONE person FOR the gates remaining closed and SEVERAL AGAINST the gates being permanently closed, however the council remain on the side of the resident rather than the side of the community.
Please sign the petition to keep the Easy Access Route Open for the community!
