As alumi, and investors in a global economy, it is our responsibility to remove Brown's resources from the companies who facilitate systemic human rights violations in Palestine. Please sign below to encourage Brown to take action.
We are proud that the Brown Advisory Committee on Corporate Responsibility in Investment Policies (ACCRIP) has 1) recognized systemic human rights violations in Palestine, and 2) asked the President and the Brown Community to discuss divesting from companies profiting from the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

- President Paxson and Board of Trustees of Brown University
As Brown alumni, we write to express our enthusiastic support for the recommendation of the Brown Advisory Committee on Corporate Responsibility in Investment Policies (ACCRIP) to discuss divesting Brown’s resources from firms whose services and products are specifically used to commit human rights violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
As investors in a global economy, it is our moral responsibility to remove our resources from the companies who facilitate systemic human rights violations and further fuel instability and violence that harms all people in the region.
We urge the Corporation to honor Brown’s tradition of social responsibility and to consistently apply Brown’s socially responsible investment principles to companies who use their products to serve the ongoing occupation and violence against Palestinians.
