Remove Napolean Broward
This petition had 70 supporters
Napolean Broward was the 19th governor of Florida. While he was very influential in the development of this state, he was not too happy about desegregation. He wanted the government to buy a colony where all African Americans would be required to live and could not leave. This individual is honored with a statue in his likeness at the entrance of the Criminal Courts in the Broward County Courthouse. Please sign this petition if you agree that racism has no place in our criminal justice system and that the statue of Napolean Broward should be moved.
