I am signing this because I, myself, am transgender and if this was the case at my school, I wouldn't have the courage to do this. You guys, you guys can make a change and we need that. Trust everybody in the trans* community. I hope this works out.

Not everyone fits into the binary gender roles that have developed in this nation. As long as the clothing is appropriate I see no problem. Brookwood always seemed like an open and welcoming place when I attended, I would hope the new principal would maintain the inclusive environment I felt guaranteed to have at that school when I was a student.

I'm signing because girls should be allowed to wear pants.

woman can be as appropriately dressed in dress pants as they can in a dress or skirt. As a matter of fact, many times the dresses or skirts chosen are a bit risqué for this type of event

It's our graduation. We should be able to dress as we want on a day we will alway remember.

Everyone deserves to dress the way they want! Besides, graduation was annoying on my end even though I wore a dress. Had to buy a new one to "fit their standards" when I had plenty to begin with. This kind of a dress code is uncalled for and oppressive.
