Get a gender neutral dress code at the Brookwood Graduation

The dress code for graduation currently says that girls must wear dresses or skirts and boys must wear dress pants and a tie. When I asked what happens if I wear dress pants instead of a dress or skirt, I was told I may not be able to walk. This is bad for people who may not identify as the sex they were born, or who are simply uncomfortable in the type of clothing designated for their sex, or even just don't own that kind of clothing and would have to buy it. There has been contact with the principal, and no response as of yet, however there has not been much time for him to respond, so that does not necessarily mean he is saying no. I just think that we should show how important this is by showing how many people support making the dress code gender neutral.
