Amy is the unofficial Brooklyn Tech Girls Track Assistant Coach. She’s a junior in college who makes it to each practice after her classes and does so much to help the team in our running and life in general.This team wouldn’t be where we are if not for Amy however Brooklyn Tech refuses to acknowledge this. In past instances, this has been brought to the school however to no avail. They refuse to listen and don’t want to give Amy the position she rightfully deserves.

Amy puts her all in her team and has been doing so ever since she joined which was 7 years ago when she started running track at Tech. It’s unfair to Amy for all the hard-work she continues to put into the team. The school is prepared to claim awards but not reward the people who make it happen.

I wanted to start this petition because Amy deserves the Assistant Coach position, but also because she’s personally aided me in many aspects of my life, more than she’ll ever know and I have a feeling many girls on our team, especially those who’ve known her for their whole high school career, can say the same.
