Finance Major Equality

In Brooklyn Technical High School, the Finance Major feels unrepresented and unvalued. Although Finance major is one of the smallest and newest majors at Brooklyn Tech, we have one of the most experienced, and supportive instructors. In the previous years, we had a bigger room where we felt like we could associate with our teachers and fellow peers. This year; however, we got transferred hastily to a much smaller room, giving the bigger room to a non-major class. We feel unimportant to this school. We have a small room with no air-conditioning and broken windows that won't open. It is too crowded to walk around, even for our intructor. We have our teacher constantly trying to budge the windows open. We need a classroom where we can promote a healthy learning environment for a topic that we show heavy interest in. We are starting this petition in hope to gain a more comfortable, enjoyable classroom to continue the legacy of the Finance Major for future techies.
