There are plans to build a Topgolf party venue in the town of Brookhaven on the LIE service road (between Zebra and Cheap Sam's) right behind residential homes. The Topgolf facility would disrupt our town and potentially bring down property values!!!

Topgolf calls itself “an entertainment facility.” This means in addition to being a golf venue, it will have live bands, dj’s, and plans to be open until 2am. It will be very large. They plan to have black netting surrounding the driving range that will be 163’ feet tall, which will be an eyesore and block views for many residents.

Many of us in the community are concerned about LATE NIGHT MUSIC, NOISE POLLUTION, LIGHTS, TRAFFIC, INSUFFICIENT PARKING CAUSING SPILLOVER ON OUR STREETS, AND ALL POTENTIAL MAYHEM that come with this type of venue.

This project is already in the works. We may not be able to stop it, but we can make sure our concerns are addressed by having our town set restrictions and rules on the venue concerning noise, lights, parking, and traffic management. We are not opposed to Topgolf in Suffolk, but do not want a party venue that will be open late with loud music, bring lots of people and traffic in a family/residential venue
