WE NEED MORE TIME!!!

We really need more time to get around and this is why. I NEVER have time to put my things away and get to the next class. They will give us more time to put our things away and will give us time to go to the bathroom or get a drink of water. A lot of people are with me and some aren’t. These are the three reasons why:

So firstly, we don’t have enough time period. But we also don’t have enough to put/gather materials. I asked 14 people and 8 out of 27 said we don’t have enough time to get from class to class AND put away/get their things from their locker. All of us have to get from one class to another and normally have to get something from our locker. I have to drop off my thing for PE, Band, and Cooking. I am practically sprinting to get from class to class. I with all block classes were in one hallway because there is too much traffic. (Seventh grade and Eighth are also there).

Also, we can go to drink water or the bathroom at that time IF we tell the teacher. Normally, we have to miss the first few minutes of class to go. Others may use that opportunity to skip, but, I like my classes, so I really don’t like having to miss class. We normally have to go once a school day, and I go during math, just because in math, we first talk a little and then start on math a few minutes later. So, if we had longer passing periods, I and others wouldn’t have to miss any class time.

Finally, It will give us time to get to our next class on time. We are always exhausted from running class to class, tripping over people, and even after ALL that, we are still late. I have Cookingm, and it is practically on the other side of the school and I have L.A which is the closest class, other than Mr. Smith’s class and is the only reason I’m not late for my next class. Other people have math or something which is on the other side of the 6th-grade hallway. I am very lucky, so please, help us, give us more passing period time.

These are three solid reasons that you should allow us to have one more minute of passing period. Take it out of class time, we use that minute to pack up. We need that time to get around, have a life! I almost never have a pencil, and I don’t have time to get one. So please, give us more time, and sign this petition to make it happen!
