Hold TV Debates For The 2017 Election

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

The TV debates in the previous two elections were organised jointly by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Sky News. They were watched by millions of people, and they played a pivotal role in the election campaigns. They've become an important part of Britain's democracy.

No party leader has the right to deny the British people their election debates. We call on the broadcasters to organise a set of TV leaders' debates in the run-up to the election, invite major party leaders to attend, and 'empty chair' those who choose not to participate.
