A safe public footpath or pavement from Kingswear to Brixham would help our local community in many ways.

Currently, there's no way to safely walk from Kingswear to Brixham town. It involves walking down a section of unlit, narrow road, where traffic is regular and fast moving.

This petition proposes that a footpath be created for our local community. It would improve safety, health and connection for the whole community. It would also help ease the traffic problem in Brixham town; instead of being forced to drive, we could choose to walk.  

I see neighbours using this road to walk, putting themselves at risk because there is no other option but than to walk on the road.

It would be great to be able to take the kids into town, or have an early morning walk, or head home from the pub without being afraid of bring involved in a serious accident.

Creating a safe pathway from Kingswear to Brixham would improve the community immensely.
