Uyghur Muslims living in Xinjiang are facing serious human rights violations at the hands of the Chinese authorities. They are facing extrajudicial killings, torture, forced disappearances, and unlawful roundups solely because they follow the religion of Islam. One million Uyghurs have been imprisoned in concentration camps - and they are subject to the most brutal offences. Chinese authorities are allowing organ harvesting of these helpless people whilst the British government remains silent to protect free trade. Britain is a UN member state and should prioritise human life over commercial and capitalist needs to ensure the safety and freedom of the Uyghurs.
