Arrey Tanyi started this petition to British House of Commons

I am writing to ask for your urgent intervention in order to stop the indiscriminate killings(genocide) going on in former British southern Cameroon. The southern Cameroons was a former British mandated territory of the United Nation trust territory before independence in 1961.

Since 2016 the government of French Cameroon has been carrying out systematic and ruthless killings of the people of Anglophone Cameroon mainly the north west and south west region also know as British southern Cameroon.

The military has been killing indiscriminately and a lot of human right abuses has been committed, as I write to you nearly everyone that I know in person has been killed or are either living as refugees in neighbouring Countries.More than 3000 has been killed, over 90,000 living as refugees in different countries, 500,000 has been internally displaced, 4000 detained and more than 300 villages burnt down including our village. Schools and hospitals have been burnt down and children have not been to school since 2016, recently sky news reported on this.

I do believe that British Parliament can do something within their capacity to stop these killings and genocide taking place by raising this issue in the House of Commons.

Her majesty government has a historical responsibility with regard to these event . The Uk government administered British southern Cameroons as a league of nation and later as United nation trust territory of southern Cameroon for more than four decades which is why the region is English speaking and do practice the English commons law

Thanks for your understanding
