Gillian Dunlop started this petition to British Horseracing Authority

The British Horseracing Authority propose bringing a planned controversial rule change, whereby horses in jump races have to be shod on their hind legs as well as forelegs. This is set to come into force on the 1st February 2019. This petition is in support of stopping this rule, and giving trainers the choice as to whether they wish to either shoe or run their horses barefoot.
