The uncertainity that surrounds the welfare of the human rights situation in the country is still in doubt particularly with the unkown outcome of the expected elections to be held on the 30th of July 2018.
There are opportunities that have opened up for the betterment of the country situation in Zimbabwe. As an organisation we still recommend further strengthening of the state organs like Zimbabwe Election Commission (ZEC), Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission, inorder for there to be the Rule of law, a culture of respecting human rights and people's freedoms.
People like my brother and many more Zimbabweans who have fled the country due to human rights related issues, are still at the mercy of the governments where they have sought refuge and are therefore in need of protection.
