Inspired Legacy started this petition to British government

On 30th March the British Government pledged  funding up to £75 million, paying airlines to supply additional charter flights. In an effort to bring UK stranded travellers home amidst the CV19 pandemic,

On the 7th May 2020 the British Government have organised One chartered aircraft for around 140 British travellers to return back  from Jamaica to the UK. However that will still leave a high number of British travellers stranded in Jamaica.

With the recent Windrush scandal, the government provided a sufficient number of  chartered flights, to transport the passengers back to Jamaica. However have only now managed one flight for 140 passengers to return back from Jamaica, to the UK.This will leave a considerable number of British passengers, still stranded in Jamaica.

A number of the stranded  British passengers have been estranged from their families  and homes, for a considerable length of time and are desperate to return back to the UK.

As the government recently stated, they have worked with airline companies to ensure the safe return of British travellers stranded in many other countries such as Ghana, Spain and Tunisia for example. However the Government after a considerable length of time, have only now issued one chartered flight to return British passengers back  from Jamaica.

This petition aims to ensure that the British Government keep their pledge and provide additional flights for British Travellers still stranded in Jamaica, after 7th May 2020.

BRING THEM HOME !!!!
