Sexual content available through sites such as Pornhub and free chat room such as Omegle which allows young people to talk to strangers all over the world of any age needs to stop, so children as young as 7 are unable to access it. Omegle is also hash tagged on TIKTOK making it even more known to young people. Sexual Assault and grooming has been in the news for many years and nothing has been done to put more in place to protect young people from accessing content which not only makes them highly vulnerable, easy accessible to predators it gives them a unhealthy view on how relationships should be. With technology developing everyday why is there not restrictions in place to verify age on a stricter level or even for smart phones to have more parental controls available when it comes to which apps their children are allowed to access? The pain knowing that your child could be seeing content not designed for their eyes could become life shattering if nothing is actually done to stop these selfish people. We need to come together to insure something is done as soon as possible. Give them huge fines, make them take down the site and even prison sentences surly would help?
