Free Mohammed Asif 

Hmp Oakwood, Mohammed Asif was convicted of a crime where no evidence was provided the date of the alleged rape offence was 09/02/2013 Passports showed that He was in Pakistan during this time 11-01-2013 - 15-02-2013. M shaheen, his wife, had stated that Mohammed Asif had falsified his visa stamps. M shaheen came to England in 2011 on a student visa And they were married by June 2012 Under Islamic rights. Her visa expired 28/07/2012 and was arrested on the 23/07/2013, being due for deportation, she claimed asylum on the day of her arrest on 23/07/2013 she demanded £2000 from Mohammed asif whilst he was in Pakistan for lawyer fees where 3 lawyers were contacted and no rape accusations were mentioned Rape allegations were made on the 01/08/2013.  She made completely false accusations and Mohammed asif has suffered since September 2013 when he was arrested he was convicted in crown court Manchester 21/08/2015 and was sentenced on the 29/08/2015 for 7and a half years imprisonment the court or appeal considered appeal against conviction of the 06/08/2020 and consequently quashed the appeal. Due to M shaheens false accusations him and his family’s life has been shattered And he feels as tho he cannot face anybody and feels as tho it isn’t just a jail sentence for him but for his children. His children have been put in foster care and have been split up, They have suffered by not being together. His children have been self harming because of how hurt they have been left. ‘My children are innocent and I can be held accountable for punishment in which I am receiving My children should not suffer or pay the price of my wrong doings’
‘The first visit with my children I witnessed them crying and it has permanently scared my memory’.
Hesuffers from stress and difficulties to sleep which has been ongoing for 5 years and is still in prison suffering. The people who believe in his innocence came to his aid and supported him financially in his hard time. He feels as tho the public should know how he was wrongly accused and the ordeal he has suffered. Weneed everyone to sign this petition and to target an immediate release
