Let's match our fellow province Saskatchewan rather than follow the possible plans of California.

I'm concerned about the public health and safety implications of permanent DST. It's December 4 as I sign this, and under permanent DST, sunrise would be at 9:01 am. Darkness would lift at about 8:30 am, meaning that a larger portion of commuters would be traveling in darkness and within the transition period. This would also require more of the population to wake contrary to normal circadian rhythms, which could affect alertness and contribute to stress.

Standard time is real time.

I choose Permanent Pacific Standard time, best for our population in British Columbia and for our individuals to not worry about changing clocks twice a year, just always the same time for the west coast of British Columbia. Thanks for even asking, always wondered why there was no other option.

Changing your clocks twice per year definitely puts strain on the human body and is not great for our circadian rhythm. The BC NDP has not given British columbians an option to switch to standard time while abolishing daylight saving time. Please keep standard time as the proper time and not Summer time.

The morning darkness in winter is bad enoughnow...just because of ourlatitude....but what will it be like with DST? Am thinking of children going to school in the dark. It increases the risks

I Hate Time Change! It messes up everyone’s sleep schedule and small children are all out of wack for weeks some changes.

Yes, I would prefer permanent standard time over permanent daylight saving time. Let's just stop switching.
