Zoe Scott started this petition to Britain

People of colour have had to suffer for generations because of the slave trade. Many people have surnames that are of slave owners. If we have their surname it means we are entitled to a share in their estate. Taxes had to be paid back by my generation who were not slaves but because our ancestors were slaves it has effected generations. Now people who have been born in England and are British because they know nothing else, have had children and grandchildren who will live with this history and be at a disadvantage. Education,Employment and running of black business is at an all time low as we have been put at a disadvantage. Every slave trader name needs to be exposed with the wealth they stole and then to be divided up to people of colour with those surnames. My Own grandchildren are now growing into this same cycle because their skin has colour. For the sake of this new generation even up the stakes.
