I urge the Town Council to approve the Bristol Bicycle Connector Project which will:

·      Improve bicycle connections between the East Bay Bike Path, downtown Bristol, and the southern end of town.

·      Foster economic growth in the downtown area by becoming known as a bicycle friendly town.

·      Create share-the-road and improved crosswalk street markings on a network of downtown streets for improved safety while maintaining all existing on-street parking.

·      Build a new multi-use paved path from the Lobster Pot to the RWU campus along the west side of Ferry Rd.
