We the students of Bristol Plymotuh believe that the 2022 Homecoming should be held outside at the football field, as it was last year. Many reasons why this makes more sense are present. One key reason is space. The gym can be very closed off, leaving people uncomfortable and claustrophobic. The football field gave people dance space, walk space, and just overall a more welcoming environment. Another key reason is the hygiene factor. Many teenagers suffer from chronic body odor, meaning by putting FOUR grades in the gym you will be adding to the smell and lack of hygiene. A third reason is that many people who attend the dance will want to get nice outfits, plus hair and makeup; with so many bodies in a tight space, it will get very hot. This will cause people to sweat, which can alter expensive looks in an hour or two. Not only can homecoming being inside cause loss of money on us, the students, but also on the schools’. It makes more sense to have an outdoor homecoming because it also has less decorations, which saves money, and allows students to enjoy the outdoor look for photos/videos. Outdoor homecoming was so much more enjoyable last year, and we would all like to repeat it this year. Below is signatures of people who agree with this idea.
