As you’re likely aware, in periods of heavy rain the eastern portion of Manly Road is regularly covered in water. Manly Road is a main thoroughfare for our local community, and it needs to be safe. What you may not be aware of is that Manly Road has an astonishing lack of Stormwater facilities to help clear this water. This leaves our community with a dangerous road in the wet and causes unnecessary damage to surrounding properties.

I believe that Brisbane City Council can do better. This dangerous situation can be easily fixed by installing stormwater facilities to remove the excessive water.

I will be providing this petition to the Brisbane City Council and our local Councillor.
