In Australia 6 tonnes of textiles end up in landfill every 10 minutes.  In Brisbane, less then 15% of textiles are recycled. We have a simple solution-provide homes with a textile recycling bin that would mean textiles could be collected and sorted. Clothes that could be recycled could goi to charities,  other clothes could be up-cycled and poor quality textiles could be repurposed. It’s a simple solution to a big problem.
