Bringing the lectures back at Parramatta city campus

The students at Western Sydney University are raising a concern about the online lectures which are backed by many reasons. Primarily, the online lecture resources are an inefficient way of getting the content through, as it highly lacks the human to human interaction which is an important aspect when it comes to learning a completely new topic. The online lectures restricts a student from a deeper understanding of the content as it falls short on adding the dimension of question-raising, leaving a student to be in a cage of content available on that particular video resource only. Moreover, there has also been some concerns about the overexposure to the LCD screen that consequents to strained eyes and also some time the bad sitting posture on a workstation causes pain in the lower back which may restrict a student from studies.

Tutorials also don't help in a complete understanding of the topic as we just do the questions.

These are the reasons we see ourselves struggling through the university.

We hope that in the next semester or any sooner, there will be in-class lectures which will increase the productivity of the students and also help the university in standing out for showing the best results of their students.

Thank you.
