The city of Hoschton is proposing a multilevel parking deck on the corner of White Street and Broad to accommodate 250-300 cars. The estimated cost for this is between 8-10 million. I do not believe it is in the best interest of our town to allow this kind of unnecessary spending and development. It will impact local citizens negatively and our pockets.

Other items that will be discussed in the meeting are: 

Changing map/parcel H01/048 of 6.78 from R-1 (low-density residential) to C-2 (general commercial highway oriented district). And also proposing to reduce building setback to 0, reduce setback abutting R1 from 30 ft to 20 ft, and reduce the minimum buffer of 20 ft.

Hearings for all items will be held at the Train Depot on June 20th at 5:30pm.
