I believe everyone living in Dublin has heard about or has encountered the gangs of teens terrorizing day to day people, especially internationals and delivery drivers. 

My name is Artem Smykovskii and I have had enough of fearing for safety of my peers. I am a student at UCD and a resident at Aparto Binary Hub, and at our student residence this problem is as real as it gets. Teens are firing fireworks at our windows, throwing stones at students and residents, calling internationals by racial slurs. At the day of writing this petition, these teens have broken into the student residence and after spending some time inside have set of a fire alarm successfully escaping after. 

The authorities of Dublin clearly do not understand the scope of this problem and what those teens are capable of as we have contacted both Garda and student residency representatives asking to deal with a problem with no further action from them. 

It is important to understand that they are not kids, they are teens who feel that there is no punishment for their actions and that they are above the law. Unfortunately after living here for 4 years I have realized that this is true, they are above the law. 

It’s time to change it. Please sign this petition to show the authorities that we are one in our frustration with this issue and we all call for immediate action from authorities.
