Bring the NHL Back to Hartford!
On April 13th, 1997 a day that will live in infamy for many CT residents, the only major league team to have called Connecticut home was uprooted and moved to North Carolina. With the teams departure, Hartford and more importantly Connecticut lost a large part of it's identity and pride. Even though it's been over 15 years since the Whale left the Whalers brand is stronger than ever (top 5 in NHL sales) and there's an ever growing appetite for the restoration of an NHL team in the state's capitol.
- Mayor of Hartford
- Governor of Connecticut
Dannel P. Malloy
- National Hockey League
I just signed the following petition addressed to: National Hockey League and Gary Bettman
Return an NHL franchise to the state of Connecticut Immediately!
