Currently residents purchase electricity directly from borough of Watsontown Pennsylvania at double the rate of PPL!  They have no choice, the MUST purchase electricity from the local government.

PPL Rates are averaging somewhere between .07 & .09 per KWH

Watsontown Borough .2048 for the first 400 hourse then charges .1612 per KWH for every KW hour afterwards

1. Watsontown Borough must have a power company that is regulated by the Public Utility Commission so that the residents have a course of action if or when they need it. 

2.  This would END the Borough's current practice of placing Liens on low income homeowner's homes because they cant afford to pay their light bill!

Once PP& L is in the borough we will all have access to the MANY Programs they offer, especially for low income earners. 

Low income Programs include:

PPL WRAP (free winterization of your home *qualifications exist)  The Budget program to help spread out electric payments evenly over the year so families don't to have to worry about the size of the bill from month to month making budgeting easier. Rebates GALOR for things you do to improve the energy efficiency of your home!

Allow companies like Trinity Solar to work with the residents of Watsontown to lower their electrical bills and sell power back to the generator

I want to pay FAIR rate on Electricity, I want a refund for the price gouging the borough have done thus far to me and to everyone else who pays Watsontown Borough for electrical service.

I want to pay .043277 per KWH!!!
