Bring justice to a student that is wrongly accused before it happens to you.

Bring justice to a student that is wrongly accused before it happens to you.

A student at my school was wrongly accused of bringing a knife to school. The knife in question was a balisong training knife. This knife is merely just a toy for practice and could not cause any harm. This practice knife was remained in his backpack and was not taken out at any time. However, he was found to be with ownership of the item. For this reason, he was sentenced to 5 days of expulsion and possibly full-time banishment.
What do we need to do?
1
We need to understand that what he did was not okay. Yet the school lead an overreaction to what was at hand.
2
The student should be freed from all punishment and left with a warning.
3
We should educate our children to understand what is okay to bring and not okay. It is not only the parent but the school system. The school must show education to what to bring to school. The school is responsible for our safety and our well-being.
