Bring jollibee to Utah
The Issue
We’ve been trying to decide what we should do with the empty lot in 2111 S. 1300 East in Salt Lake City and I think it would be a great idea to open one j. That area We, the residents of Utah, respectfully petition major developers, shopping center owners, and Jollibee Foods Corporation to open at least one Jollibee restaurant in our state. Utah is growing rapidly with a diverse and expanding population, yet we currently lack any dedicated Filipino fast-casual dining option—especially one as beloved and iconic as Jollibee. It’s time to change that.
Utah families, students, and food lovers deserve access to Jollibee’s signature Chickenjoy, the perfectly crispy, juicy fried chicken that has won hearts worldwide. Paired with their famous gravy, spaghetti, peach mango pie, and hot garlic rice, Jollibee offers a unique and crave-worthy menu that stands out from the usual fast-food options. Right now, Utahns who want authentic-tasting Filipino fried chicken have to settle for distant alternatives or make long drives out of state. Opening a local Jollibee would give us a true Filipino chicken spot we’ve been missing.
Bringing Jollibee to Utah would be great for our community in many ways. It would introduce delicious new flavors and cultural experiences to a state that already celebrates diversity through food. Filipino-Americans and other Asian communities in Utah would finally have a convenient taste of home, while everyone else gains an exciting new dining destination for family meals, late-night cravings, or quick lunches. Jollibee’s fun, welcoming vibe and high-quality, affordable meals would fit perfectly into Utah’s family-friendly culture.
Economically, a Jollibee location would create jobs, attract more visitors, and boost local shopping centers. The chain has a proven track record of success across the U.S. and globally, and Utah’s fast-growing population (especially in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah County, and along the Wasatch Front) provides a strong customer base. With our love for good food and community gathering spots, Jollibee would thrive here and quickly become a local favorite.
We urge Jollibee to recognize Utah as the next ideal market. Let’s bring the joy of Chickenjoy to the Beehive State! Sign this petition to show your support and help make Utah’s first Jollibee a reality.
